Volunteerism
Volunteerism is an essential component of the Children’s School of Excellence vision. The school itself was created by dedicated volunteer efforts of parents and community members. CSE fosters a school environment of parent involvement and participation and encourages student involvement in community service activities.
Family Participation
Family participation is essential to CSE’s success. Families who contribute time to the school explicitly demonstrate to our children that they value education. And our children’s education is greatly enhanced by the care, devotion, and innovative programs that our families inspire and navigate.
CSE is pleased to have a wonderful ethic of parents who volunteer at the school on a variety of projects. When parents sign up to provide consistent volunteer help to the school, it enables the school to keep tuition and other costs manageable. Parents can help on school fund raisers, serve on committees, assist in the maintenance of the grounds and buildings, support community events and activities, and regularly attend monthly parent meetings throughout the year.
